In short: PDW secured a conditional $820 million loan from the Pentagon and over $110 million in Series B funding to scale domestic drone production.
The funding would support domestic production of critical drone components and reduce reliance on foreign-controlled supply chains.

It is worth noting that this $820 million loan commitment has not yet been finalized. PDW still needs to meet financial, legal, technical and other due diligence requirements before the funds can actually be in place. As analysts have said, this week's Pentagon actions on drones are $500 million for shooting down drones (counter-drone contracts) plus $820 million conditional commitment for manufacturing parts—one addresses the immediate threat, the other is betting on the future supply chain...
